Rett Syndrome is the first cause of genetic multiple-disability hitting girls in France. There is no known cure as of today despite a better understanding of the disease. The French Rett Syndrome Association (AFSR) supported Research projects worth 900,000€ since 1988. AFSR gathers more than 400 families, a scientific and medical board including 20 professionals specialists of the disease. the Association regularly publishes materials and organises events.
